3-5 PIGADIA SKI RESORT 20-03-09

Today there was heavy snow so I needed snow chains. It was snowing all day since early morning. I met Persephone and together we ski through forest where it was a powder paradise. It was snowing when I left the resort so tomorrow it will be great. Also today I broke my last years record of 30 days skiing. Now I'm heading for the 40.

Even though I said that it was the last time I went to pigadia for ski, I came again. The reason was the fresh snow that fell the day before. It was an opportunity for me to try to ski through the woods in another part of the forest for the first time. Another great experience, also danger, but it was fun.

THESSALONIKI ARNAIA ROAD BIKE 17-03-09

Today I tried for the second time to reach Arnaia with my road bike. The first time I had started too late and it was getting dark so I had to return. But this time I did it. I started early and after 3 hours, 76 klm, rain and wind I managed to reach Arnaia, and return with a stop at Tagarades village to say hi to my parents. The distance in total was 151 klm and was the biggest I've ever done. The route I followed was Thessaloniki, Rissio, Tagarades, Agia Paraskevi, Souroti, Vassilika, Galatista, Agios Prodromos, Arnaia, and the same back. It was a great experience and even greater training, until the next one!!!

ROUND OF PIKROLIMNI ROAD RACE 15-03-09

This was the first race for the season and was a road race (I'm racing in MTB so what am i doing on a road bike?). I managed to place fifth in my category, even though it was a little bit difficult for me to stay in the group. So i was racing all the time against the wind all alone. Well done!!!
